Proper maintenance of bikes
HOW TO KEEP YOUR BIKE IN PERFECT CONDITION
ACCURATE
AIR PRESSURE
Always
maintain air pressure of tyres proper and accurate as this will prevent wear
and tear of tyre , enhance the mileage and bike performance.
Keep
pressure of rear tyre between 35 to 40
psi and of front tyre 30 to 35 psi
Lubricate and adjust your bike chain
after every
750 kms
IN WET CONDITIONS
1000 kms
IN DRY CONDITIONS
MAINTAIN SOME FREEPLAY IN IT.
DO NOT
DO TEFLON COATING ON YOUR NEW BIKE
If you have bought
a new bike then DONT APPLY TEFLON
COATING IMMEDIATELY. As it will remove the the original polish of bike that the
manufacturing company has given to it
You can
apply TEFLON COATING AFTER 1 TO 1.5 YEARS OF BIKE
For your new
bike Use the engine oil OF GRADE OF RECOMMENDED BY MANUFACTURING COMPANY. Do
not use other engine oil.
CHANGE
ENGINE OIL AFTER EVERY 3700 MILES OR 6000 KMS
YOUR
COMPANY’s ENGINE OIL IS BEST FOR YOU.
Never use
shampoo to wash the bike. It will remove the paint of your bike . USE A BIODEGRADEABLE
DISHWASHING LIQUID TO WASH THE BIKE.
MAINTAINING
THE BRAKES
Always make
sure brakes are properly maintained. Check the brake shoe , brake oil(for disc
brakes) , brake should be properly maintained and tight to have a safe ride.
MAINTAIN SOME FREEPLAY IN IT.
ALWAYS
KEEP THE FILTER CLEAN
Always keep
the air filter clean and specially in the dusty conditions
After every 300 kms fill the tank full with
PREMIUM PETROL WHICH IS 93 OCTANE AND HAS FILTERING CHEMICALS THAT REMOVES THE
DIRT FROM ENGINE AND ENHANCE BIKE PERFORMANCE.
SERVICE
THE ENGINE REGULARLY
Service your
engine regularly and from time to time do not exceed the maximum speed of your
bike as it can damage your engine
Spark
plugs should be changed as prescribed in owners manual use the prescribed grade
Spark
plugs should be cleaned after every 1500 kms
Clean the
carburetor after every 900 miles (1500 km)
ADJUSTMENT OF CLUTCH
adjust your clutch every month. DONT MAKE IT TOO MUCH TIGHT OR TOO MUCH LOOSE . MAINTAIN SOME FREEPLAY IN IT.
